Affirmative action is the policy that lowers the standards for certain groups of people to increase the numbers of those groups in a particular profession or institution.

  • Supporters of Affirmative action believe one of the following. 

    1. that Blacks and Hispanics can't compete intellectually with Whites and Asians.
    2. That Whites and Asians are less deserving of an education or high-paying job by virtue of being White or Asian.
  • Affirmative action is racist belief.

    Supporters of this action may include large companies, who are now trying to pay minority’s more than the majorities. I don’t believe in Affirmative action, again, it is racist and unfair to majorities as well as minorities. This can cause unfair treatment to both sides of the action, which makes it horrible.
