Apparently, Uber is putting tracking information on users iphones, that can track them even if they delete data from their iPhone.  Really?

  • That is a serious violation of privacy and a violation of consumer trust.

  • Uber has so many issues recently.  Unionization threat, CEO yelling at driver PR nightmare, now his?
    I'm not sure if these are growing pains, or price they are paying for takimg shortcuts that fueled their growth.
  • That was an extremely risky move. After hearing about this, I may not use Uber anymore (oh, wait, it won't matter they will still receive my data).
  • @censel_coffeeLove, Agreed. Maybe you are right that deleting the app is not enough.
