Technically, it depends on what position you were in before passing the person.  If the guy in second had lapped you and you were in last place, you would still be in last place.  You would not move up until you passed the person in the next to the last place.

You are totally right. It is a totally dum question and the only people who would get caught out would have to be dummer that the dum nut who asked such a dum question in the first place. And that would be so dum that I reckon that a tard ameba with advanced altzhimers would beat him hands down in a game of guess the dummy. Now that’s what I call totally uber dum.
