It seems that American neoliberals have more heart than American consevatives

Debate Information

I am talking about the people who support the neoliberal movement, not the leaders.
I know there are heartless people on both side( like there are in every country and nation), but there are key things about republicans that I do not understand.

1. Why do republicans support Israel so much? Do you see that there is so much evidence that Israel is in the wrong? Do you simply regard the Palestinians as less-worthy of life? If you do, thats absolutely unacceptable.

2. Why are so keen on not letting women have abortion under no circumstance?
It would be too much to strip away a womans chance to have a have a child with someone who she loves, and force her to bring up a child that she did not want...
This is a hard topic, but she will spend her days wondering why she has to bring up a child who she does not want, while she sees other women living a happy life with a man and child they want.
I would limit abortion mostly to the first trimester.
Maybe with special council with doctors, it would be alright even later.
But the abortion rates should still be kept to a minimum, people need to be responsible.
Everyone who is 18 years old and older knows about contraception. Even youngsters.
There needs to be responsibility, and awareness that a child feels pain when it is aborted.

    1) Israel has done NOTHING wrong...they simply seek to exist in peace. Israel has sought peace relentlessly but Islam wants them DEAD. This hatred is Biblical and eschatological.

    2) If a woman has been raped or involved in incest and therefore desires to abort the child in her womb the question that must be wrestled with is: "How is murdering a child for the crime of the father justified, how does this comport with due process as guaranteed in the Bill of Rights?" Since when does a civil society predicated upon the rule of law murder children for a parent's crime?

    3) If the mother's life is in danger due her pregnancy, it is the mother's decision whether to murder her baby to save her own life, not the State. This is one exception I'm willing to ponder and it is a tragic one for the mother.

    Hello Martin:

If people are free, they'll get abortions when they choose, and not when people who're trying to "keep it to a minimum" would like..

    @Martin

    Children don't get aborted.

In a properly regulated system, unprotected post coital awareness should be sufficient enough information on which to make a definitive decision...Only lazy people wouldn't.

Nonetheless, ongoing gamete fusion and zygotal tissue would not experience either pain or emotions.

Whereas overthinkers have the audacity to think such things on other peoples behalf.

Such overthinkers often have a tendency to also get emotional about Middle Eastern folk tales.

Nowt so daft as folk, as they say.

Perhaps you should have suffered that fate when you were in the womb.
The problem with neoliberals is that they are so ready to inflict pain upon other people, but they cry like 1-year olds when it is done to them.

That sounds funny coming from a Serb.     Do Serbs only hate Kosovo Muslims?        At least the Israelis are not lining them up in their thousands and machine gunning them in their thousands, like you Serbs did in Srebrenica.

    1. Why do republicans support Israel so much? Do you see that there is so much evidence that Israel is in the wrong? Do you simply regard the Palestinians as less-worthy of life? If you do, thats absolutely unacceptable.

Is Israel without fault in its war with Hamas?  No.  The UN claims they have committed violations.  However, it would be a mistake to ignore who provoked whom first in this latest war.  Israel suffered a death loss comparably greater than 911.  Further, Hamas uses Palestinians as human shields, because they want civilian casualties to accuse Israel of crimes.  Has Hamas committed greater crimes?  Yep.  From Jules favorite AI (perplexity.ai):

Based on the search results provided, there is strong evidence that Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups committed war crimes during the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel and in the subsequent conflict. Key points include:

    1. Human Rights Watch accused Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups of committing numerous war crimes and crimes against humanity during the October 7 assault, including:
    - Deliberate attacks on civilians
    - Killing of captives
    - Hostage-taking
    - Mutilation of bodies
    - Looting

    2. The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry found that Hamas and other Palestinian militants committed war crimes and violated international humanitarian and human rights law in their October 7 attack.

    3. Specific war crimes identified by the Commission include:
    - Murder and intentionally directing attacks on civilians
    - Torture and cruel or inhuman treatment
    - Destroying or seizing property of an adversary
    - Outrages upon personal dignity (including desecration of corpses)
    - Taking hostages

    4. The Commission also noted indiscriminate rocket fire toward populated areas in Israel as constituting war crimes.

    5. While the Commission could not independently verify reports of rape and sexual violence due to lack of access, they noted a separate UN report supporting allegations of sexual violence by Hamas fighters during the attack.

    6. Hamas denied some of these allegations, but Human Rights Watch and the UN Commission dismissed their denials as false, citing evidence that the killing and abduction of civilians were premeditated and coordinated actions.

It's important to note that these findings come from reputable international organizations and are based on extensive investigations, including interviews with survivors, analysis of visual evidence, and expert testimonies. However, full legal proceedings would be required to formally establish guilt in a court of law.

While this does not give Israel a pass on its conduct, it is important to understand the enemy that they face and who has vowed to kill Israel's children while hiding among Palestinian civilians.  If Hamas put down its weapons today, there would be peace in the middle east.  If Israel put down her weapons, then Israel would cease to exist.

Why are so keen on not letting women have abortion under no circumstance?
It would be too much to strip away a womans chance to have a have a child with someone who she loves, and force her to bring up a child that she did not want...

There are several false premises to this statement.
    1) It assumes that the unborn child is in some way less human than a individual who has been born.  This is untrue.  From the moment of conception the child is fully human.  Often those who are pro-unborn-baby-killing will dehumanize her and claim she has less value than other humans because of some arbitrary marker they have made up such as her size, age, location, or stage of development.   None of these things determine her humanity.
    2) Virtually every pro-life person I know allows for at least the exception of when the progenitor's physical life is at stake.  So it is misleading to claim that they are not willing to allow abortion under any circumstance.
    3) It is a false notion to claim that the woman is forced to bring up the child if she does not want to do so.  Adoption is a loving option that is available.

To claim that Republicans have less heart because they do not want to kill innocent human lives seems unfounded.  One would have to dehumanize the unborn child into something less than human to make such a fallacious claim.  This has been common throughout history though.  Slavery owners claimed slaves were less than non-slaves.  The US census even counted slaves as 3/5ths of a person at one time.  The Nazis rationalized taking away Jews guns, then their property, and then their lives because they claimed they were not capable of being citizens.  Oppressors have often rationalized their brutality over their victims by claiming their victims were less than full persons.

Here's a thought, maybe, dehumanizing an innocent unborn child and ripping her head, arms, and legs off in a D&E isn't the most compassionate option.  While the woman may indeed suffer from giving birth to an unwanted child, the harm done to the dead child is a greater harm.  Just something for you to think about.

    1. These international organizations claim that there was a genocide in Srebrenica. It was not a genocide, it was a war crime. All of the people who were killed were men, most of them were prisoners of war.
    It was not a genocide.

Regarding Israel, they purposely ignore the entire background before October 7th. I understand that Republicans need Jewish votes, but that does not mean that Israel should be supported no matter what.
I hope that Trump will seek to do best for everyone.
I have no love for the democratic party of the United States.

    2. I know that a child feels pain, when aborted, I stated that in my post, maybe you did not read that part. I think that it is definitely better to support Pro-life more than Pro-choice.

    3. I know that neoliberals tend to get emotional, and I know that a lot of people can easily by the democratic party since they rely on emotion a lot.
When it comes to republicans, I saw coldness because they support Israel.
Maybe they see it as a necessary evil because they need jewish votes.
But again, Trump is hopefully a very caring person, and will see the plight of Palestine.

@Martin ; If by "Muslim" you're denoting "Islam," yes, pure, unadulterated, hatred and it is the demonically deceived fo-ol who advocates for Islam.

Islam’s “Allah” is Satan masquerading as an angel of light via the Arabic moon god. Islam was founded by a 7th-Century nomadic demon possessed pedophile murdering thief named Muhammad who plagiarized the Torah to construct the Quran. Islam is a demonic cult of death.

Islam’s root is the act of adultery between Abraham and Hagar producing the “wild ” of a man named Ishmael, the father of the Islmaelites who are the progenitor of Muhammad. Islam is Satan’s presence within the Realm of Time.

@Martin ; Israel is NOT committing "genocide" but simply ensuring that HAMAS and Hezbollah, Iranian terrorist proxies, are denied the opportunity to engage in October 7 part 2. Israel is sick and tired of living under the constant bombardment of Islamic Terrorism and Palestine should be turned into a sea of molten glass and restructured into an Israeli Sea Resort for profit...Lebanon should become an Israeli sea resort and Hezbollah sent straight to Hell pass go....Iran should be bombed into Hell and its leadership hung by the neck, naked, until dead and their bodies burned in public. I have spent time in Israel, north and south...Islam is a disease.
