Argument Topic: God wants and need for us to sin and repent for missing the marks of excellence.

Repentance requires recognition of having sinned. What is sin if not the happy fault that is necessary to God's plan that Christians name it?

If you do not happily sin, you are screwing up God's plan.

I try hard to sin, but have failed at maintaining and promoting God's sin plan plan for a while now.

The point is, actuated-realized repentance does not initiate New Covenant relationship because no one can truly "repent" through deed and effort until they've first entered into New Covenant relationship with the Father by faith in Jesus as Messiah and subsequently received the anointing of the indwelling Holy Spirit as Guarantor of that covenant relationship (Ephesians 1:13-14)...this anointing is essential for obedience that actually glorifies the Father. 

It is the desire for godly repentance, a sorrow for the life lived contrary to God's will, in conjunction with faith-belief-trust in Jesus as Messiah that initiates New Covenant relationship; then, as the redeemed in Jesus begin their walk of faith...the indwelling Holy Spirit begins to work through them in daily Christian sanctification as the Spirit produces "fruits of righteousness" through their obedience (Galatians 5:16-23); therefore, the point is this, repentance (noun) at the time of salvation is a "desire of the heart"...it is a sincere desire to change and honor our God in obedience and this desire is coupled with faith (noun) in Jesus as the One who can make this change a reality. Faith (noun) and repentance (noun) when exercised in daily Christian sanctification through the Spirit's work subsequent salvation by faith (noun), these become verbs as they are realized-actuated-made applicable through daily obedience to the indwelling Holy Spirit's teaching and anointing and leadership where "fruits of righteousness" are produced that actually pleases the Father and these "fruits" proves one to be a true and honorable disciple of Jesus (John 15:8).
