Atheists dont "Hate God" They simply don't believe the same shtuff as you. They are people just like you. Just leave them alone. They just want to live their own lifes. Oh and this does not count for the atheist peeps who try to convince others that god is not real

I'm not into any 'debates' that single out non-public persons for ridicule or scorn.  I may differ with people on their opinions and while  I'm happy to debate those issues with them, and I'm happy to tell them my opinions, I am not comfortable for using the debate forums to single out individual debaters for attack.  I don't think that shows them respect.

Why someone is an atheist will depend on the individual and their experiences.  It could be that they just accepted the beliefs of their family.  If may be that they just haven't heard an argument that sounds persuasive to them, or they may have had a bad experience with a religious group in the past.  There is no one reason.

I'm not sure that One Direction are the best philosophers to quote on the matter.  But I do think we should treat others the way we would want to be treated.

There are some militant atheists - that is true. And you are right, some would seek to silence and even outlaw religion - as some communist countries have done. I don't mind atheists asking hard questions - though I hope they will at least allow others the chance to answer them.

Absolutely not. I have one atheist in my life and that's my brother and he's only in it cuz he's my brother. I cut all atheists out of my life when I realized that they think every theist is beneath them and every theist is and everything theist is a monkey in the zoo.

Oh I'm sure you think of it as babbling but it's really not it's completely and utterly honest. At one point I don't know how many years ago it's been now when I started noticing that on the internet atheist were completely honest about what they thought of the theist in their life. So I asked them very direct questions about what they exactly thought of me in my religion. And at that point I told them I don't need to be friends with someone who's okay thinking I'm beneath them and not worthy to breathe the same air as them. So the only atheist in my life is my brother so I can get off the computer and hang out with people and not a one of them will be an atheist. Unfortunately for you guys there's so much more of us than you so you're stuck being married to,giving birth to, having parents that are one of us scumbags.

So you get on the computer to engage atheists and belittle them for being on the computer engaging theists? Then scurry away to a life you don't have to deal with dissenting opinions serving your own imaginations? And you say that's not babbling, hmm.

And since I can't find one it usually turns into this where I get to basically tell atheists  exactly why everybody hates them and they still don't get it.

My business is completely based on my spiritual practice I spend all day in it. Created a safe space for people who want to talk about things like that because they can't do it with their family. About how Christians and atheists make these people feel bad. Of course I've experienced it myself. Christians don't step foot in my business cuz you know Satan and all. A few have come over after church and prayed on my door I have it on camera it's kind of cute.  Atheist come in with their girlfriends and boyfriends all the time and run their mouth. I actually had to have someone leave once because of it. You guys can sit there and run your run your mouth but when you get down to it you're a bigot when it comes to theist so I'm a bigot when it comes to atheist. You can't have a single conversation with anyone here that isn't insulting cuz when I've tried it you guys just say I'm for believing in God you refuse to engage in any way that's meaningful so don't sit on your high horse look down at everybody and tell us that you're underneath our feet and downtrodden because it's .

I have never said that someone should burn in hell for eternity because they do not believe in the same stuff I do. I think hatred is one-sided here, and the hating ones project their own feelings onto others.

I said that many times before, and I will say it again: I have many religious friends (including Christians) whose beliefs I am absolutely fine with. Morons like the OP are the ones who disgust me - and I do not "hate" them either, just pity and try to stay away from.

It is a theist thing to infer what has not been said or implied. The person you responded to didn't say you were "dumber" than atheists, period.

Of course I as an atheist stand by my words, just not the theists intentional misrepresentations of them. Now I'm not May, he's much kinder than I. I will say most theists are dumber than atheists cause they believe in that which there is no evidence of. That said I fully understand there are theists way smarter than I, just not on this one issue. I look forward to your misinterpretation of what I just said and a scolding rebuke from you.
