As I'm sure we've all heard, the Russian-backed Assad government has practically fallen to rebel forces, and it truly begs the question: What is next for Syria? The rebel forces are a wide diaspora of political beliefs, many of them being extreme. Perhaps Syria can have an actual free and fair election, of which it was deprived of under Assad. Or it may also continue down the road of civil war.
