It depends on how much less popular Mueller's investigation becomes.  His poll number have been dropping pretty steadily, but this stunt suggests Mueller doesn't intend to wrap it up anytime soon.  Announcing these indictments, which Mueller hopes will NEVER see the inside of a courtroom, just as Trump is entering talks with Putin indicates that Mueller intends to continue undermining the Trump administration.

I hope the Mueller investigation comes to an end, but I believe it will continue until after the mid-term elections in hopes of the Democrats gaining control of the House.  Then they will use Mueller's investigation to further interrupt the Trump administration and of course try and impeach the President.  There is little chance for the Dem's to take the Senate, so most if not all their focus will be on trying to gain control of the House.  This, however, is not in the best interest of the American people, the Government will come to a screeching halt.
