Do you mean in groups? Do you mean in public institution? In silence? Out loud? As grievance to actions of other religions?

Yes, it's not illegal or immoral to pray in schools if you personally decide to do so in your free time.

The issue is that there cannot be state sponsored prayer in school - e.g. school can't ask everyone to say a prayer at the start of the day or what have you.

From my understanding, iIf someone were to pray quietly to themselves and they do so without some of the other individuals being able to hear it, then I believe that that is hopefully acceptable to those why might view prayer in unacceptable way?

  • Having a Right to do something, having a Constitutional Right, and having a united state right are not the same thing. A right is not an immunity to crime it is a decision of separation made on a person. One law is not an immunity to other law. The end result is that it is the form of prayer which shapes the decision on how it is related to law.
