  • Because Christians conquered the world, called everything they saw “their” land, then proceeded to kill thousands of indigenous people, and then, they said that god supposedly sent them on this journey.
    Not every quote you read on the internet is true- Abraham Lincoln

    Have you asked various individuals in person, your question away from the internet?

    And if you have, have you found the conversational experience to be different than from how it is via the internet?
  • There are good Christians and there are bad Christians.

    @Zombieguy1987 ;
    I have many things to say about https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-secular-life/201410/secular-societies-fare-better-religious-societies

    I would say that the countries with the most religious freedom, not the most religious people, are the best places to live. And when the article refers to "highly secular", I really have to question what that means...

    https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/sw.html "Church of Sweden (Lutheran) 61.3%, other (includes Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Baptist, Muslim, Jewish, and Buddhist) 8.2%, none or unspecified 30.5% (2016 est.)"

    Article: "It isn’t in highly secular Sweden."

    Apparently, 30% is categorized as "highly secular"

    See http://apologetics-notes.comereason.org/2015/11/are-atheist-countries-really-more-moral.html

    My opinion on this matter:
    Religious Freedom -> More Secularism
                                 -> Better Society

    NOT More Secularism -> Better Society

    If there was a state that forced all of their people to be nonreligious, it would be just as bad as a religious state.

    Take, for example, North Korea. There is no religious freedom. According to the CIA World Factbook, "autonomous religious activities now almost nonexistent; government-sponsored religious groups exist to provide illusion of religious freedom".

    If you are looking for a truly secular state, go to North Korea. Or China, with a bit more than half of the population unafilliated with a religion.
  • Why do people hate Muslims? It is because of the amount of heinous acts of crime they have committed against humanity in the name of their religion. Every religion has discriminated against others, Christians especially.
    "Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? " ~Epicurus

    "Americanism not Globalism, will be our credo." ~Donald Trump

    "A communist is like a crocodile" ~Winston Churchill
  • Why does the world hate Christians?

    What was Jesus' answer to this question?

    He said the world would hate Christians because Christians follow Jesus, and the world would hate Jesus.

    Why would the world hate Jesus?

    Because, Jesus said, He convicts the world of sin. So they hate Him, and all those who follow Him.
