     The answer to the original question is yes. He acknowledged and did not condemn the death penalty. John MacArthur explained it this way.

     "And Jesus said this to Peter. Matthew 26:52, "Put your sword back in its place. For all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword". What was Jesus saying? If you take that mans' life, you have to give your life. You can't use that sword to kill somebody with impunity. You take his life, they have a right to take your life. Jesus said all those who take up the sword are gonna die by the sword. All who kill will themselves die. And thus did Jesus uphold the law of capital punishment."

     Paul also acknowledged the death penalty in Acts. 

     Also, Romans points to it clearly as well and even describes the people who must carry the sentence out avengers for God. 
     
    "the powers that be, if you do what is evil, should cause you fear, for they do not bear the sword for nothing. Rather, they are ministers of God, avengers who bring wrath on those who practice evil"
     
     It may sound ugly but simply put, if someones take someone else's life, in the eyes of God and the Bible, they are to be condemned to death.

    God did not murder them, that is it was not unjust of Him to end their lives. God gives life and takes it away, no matter how someone dies it is God that takes the life He gave. Is there another way you could phrase that or would you like to discuss the presuppositions that lead you to call it murder?

    So far, your biblical ignorance is without bounds!

    To try and get you up to speed for the future, the impetus of the god of the Jews, Christians and Muslims has an Abrahamic foundation in all of their godly writings (Torah, Bible, and Quran), where it IS THE SAME GOD, but is called a different pagan name by the aforementioned beliefs, get it?

    Therefore, this is where the religious comedy starts!  The Christian part of this triune god concept is either called Yahweh, or Yahweh/Jesus if the embarrassing and comical trinity doctrine is used.  Therefore, the Christian part of this god is considered omniscient, then this god part could have "stepped in" like he did many times before in the primitive Bronze and Iron Age bible to change the course of history, but he didn’t, WHY?

    What is so revealing, is the FACT that the Allah part of this triune Abrahamic god concept took the side of Islam on 9/11 by allowing Muslims to attack the US.  Get it? Yes? 2+2=4.

    The Atheists continue to be amused when the pseudo-christian tries in vain to apologetically spin themselves into a pretzel in trying to logically explain this biblical axiom and premise away.  Watch!

    Educate this website, and the public at large, on how many religious parents, have been incarcerated for teaching their kids about God, in general?

    Or for taking their kids to church?

    Or for christening, their babies. 

    Or for someone, being baptized? 

    Or for a minister, preacher, priest, rabbi, or pastor, being arrested for teaching religion to the public, in general? 

    Zero is the answer, isn't it?

    If it's not Zero, then prove it? 

    I'm pro family, pro athiest, pro theist, pro religion, and pro public.

    The Bible tells us why he did not intervene to stop it.
    Galatians 6:7 - "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap." 

    The United States sowed war and reaped war in return.
    Why does the country get all the credit and none of the blame?


    Also remember the challenge against God is that man can rule himself better than God.
    So if God intervened he would be working against himself.
    This is the reason why Christians should not support any country (including the United States) in war.
    Acording to the prophecy United States is the last country to fail, when it does God will intervene and destroy all nations and their supporters.

    Daniel 2:44 - "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever."
