  • Yes. You find them around town at a good price, and get to enjoy traveling along on a scooter! Inconvenient that you get fines if you don't leave them in specific places, but other than that--fantastic concept!
  • Lime scooters are amazing, but in the modern world we really need the next step: lime cars. I saw something similar in Indianapolis, where electric smart cars can be picked at specific locations and dropped at other such locations: you scan your driver's license and credit card, and you are good to go.

This type of service is the future. Perhaps, at some point, we will no longer need to own any vehicles, as renting anything will be just a matter of saying, "I need a Prius for a couple of days", and in a minute the vehicle is parked by your house, waiting for you.

Here in South Bend, we don't have lime scooters yet, but lime bikes are everywhere, and they are very convenient. I just wish people treated them a bit better; the "rental curse" applies here as well, and people tend to not care about damaging the bikes, and they throw them around with no care, knowing that they aren't responsible for anything that happens to them.
