    Having an abortion means a new person continues to not exist, while death (from firearms or anything else) stops a person from existing. Abortion and death are not synonymous.

    And pretend there is not a physical continuum between a fertilized human egg and a human adult.

    And then call THAT argument, the one they built on irrationality,   incomprehensible.

    It's a neat logical trick, but a trick all the same.
