Seems like he just passed a law introducing harsh penalties for grave robbing. This article by no means supports the assumption that the law had anything to do with the alleged Jesus' resurrection.

@MayCaesar On the contrary I think it does support the argument.  But not the resurrection specifically, rather the Biblical account of Matthew.

Matthew 28:12-15 "When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day."

This verse is supported by the Nazarene Inscription as stated in the article, so rather than this article supporting the resurrection completely, it supports the Biblical account of events and opens the discussion to either Jesus rising again or the disciples stealing His body.  And that question is another debate entirely.

So, to the OP @YeshuaBought, I do not believe the inscription confirms it, but it does open up discussion on it in a way that the exemption of it would not.

It only confirms it to people with zero critical thinking skills. The rest of us know better.
