Democrats try to say that Jesus would be a Liberal or a Socialist because of his love for the poor.

I listen to the Democrats, who say they are Christian, explaining why they support the Democrat Party of abortion on demand. They say they do not personally agree with taking innocent unborn lives, but look the other way, even when the Politicians they vote for vow to keep No Restriction abortions legal. They say they are not one issue voters even when the one issue is life and death!
They tell us how Jesus spoke much about helping the poor, helping those in need, etc., and today would probably be a Democrat or Socialist because of his love for the least among us.
There is a very important point I want to make, since I seldom hear it when listening to these types of conversations. If Jesus wants us all to help the poor, protecting them from hard lives, etc., then how much more would he want us to help those innocent unborn lives facing death? All we ever hear is the Left's supposed love for the poor. NO! The Left uses poor people to win elections and thereby controling the masses. THAT'S IT!
How could any truly compassionate Party support aborting even viable babies for any reason?
I don't know about your priorities when it comes to compassion for others, but if I had to choose between saving an innocent life from instant death, or helping someone to a better quality of life, the choice is clear. CRYSTAL CLEAR!
I would first help the person facing imminent death, and then help the other person achieve a better life. Democrats, your priorities are all screwed up!
You can't pretend to care about the poor, while supporting the very death of that poor person! Are we living in some Twilight Zone where by common sense is turned upside down?
Jesus never tells us to elect politicians to help the poor. He tells US to help the poor! Jesus knew very well how corrupt politicians were, and because of this would be the last person to support Socialism whereby corrupt politicians control people's money and lives. Jesus believed in helping others through charity, and the voluntary giving of our time.
I say again, if Jesus tells us to help the poor, then how much more does he tell us to save their lives from execution? Too many Churches are silent on the issue of abortion, while always speaking to the importance of helping the poor. How about speaking to both? How about first saving that life from abortion, and then helping with any possible poverty?
I do not believe a Pro abortion person can be a true Christian, because God tells us that we woud know a Christian by their love. To say you have love and compassion for others, by electing politicians who will redistribute other's money (not your's), and the very same politicians who support killing the unborn poor, is beyond phony. God says he knows us in the womb, and of course would be Pro Life!
It's a lie that Republicans, or Conservatives, do not care for people after they are born. Republicans believe in a safety net to help those who can not help themselves. They believe that able bodied people should eventually find work and help support themselves and their families, not expecting to make welfare a career.

Most likely Jesus would live somewhere in India, where wandering prophets are still respected, and use his influence there to amass a lot of followers. He would be very far away from all politics, just as he was in Judea.
