Not here to criticize, not here to poke fun, and not here to demoralize, but in all seriousness does Trump have a path to re-election?
Trump's decision to axe the second round of stimulus checks, his contracting of covid-19, suggestion to have Biden Jailed, and refusal to do a second virtual debate (which could only benefit him) has caused many people to turn away from Trump.
I have been experimenting with the interactive map at
https://www.270towin.com/maps/biden-trump-polling-map and I honestly can't find any credible ways that Trump could win, unless he somehow gets Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Arizona. If even just one of those state's electoral votes go to Biden, it is over for Trump.
Some sources are reporting Biden has as much as a 21-point lead on Trump, and the betting odds are: Biden -190, and Trump + 160. For comparison, Hillary only had a 4 point lead on Trump in 2016 and Obama had a 9 point lead on McCain. With only a few weeks until the election, this seems incredible and virtually insurmountable.
What I am asking is if there is anything that I am missing here that can account for this huge divide that could possibly tip the scales in Trump's favor?
At some point in the distant past, the universe went through a phase of cosmic inflation,
Stars formed, planets coalesced, and on at least one of them life took root.
Through a long process of evolution this life developed into the human race.
Humans conquered fire, built complex societies and advanced technology .
All of that so we can argue about nothing.
