At some point in the distant past, the universe went through a phase of cosmic inflation,
Stars formed, planets coalesced, and on at least one of them life took root.
Through a long process of evolution this life developed into the human race.
Humans conquered fire, built complex societies and advanced technology .

Conservatism disrupted the family

This is going to make some people very upset.
You like people who tells it like it is?
Well here it is.
Conservatism, not socialism, not communism, not rock and roll destroyed the nuclear family. Here is why:
-Anti-communism hysteria pushed by the American conservatives disrupted labor movements and pushed capitalist anti-left agenda. This lead to the conditions for employers to take advantage of working class people, without the labor parties to fight for the worker's interests.
-This in turn, lead to higher working hours, lower wages, and greater concentration of wealth in society. Working class people were pushed into low income neighborhoods and prison populations exploded.
-Now a father's wage is insufficient to raise kids alone, so mothers need to work as well to take raise children. Not to mention single mothers who now had to raise kids without the help of a father.
-The end result is that children spend less quality time with their parents and more with the TV, since day care is expensive. This disrupted the family unit by creating a barrier between the kids and and parents.
Ironically, the very same right-wing values which champion family values were the same ones that lead to it's disruption. Capitalism and the pursuit of profit directly lead to the conditions which destroyed the nuclear family.
