With the new fascist regime about to overcome the US, I'm wondering what the art world will look like. Will we fall back into traditional, or classic art forms, or will a new vanguard be on the cutting edge of a new fascist art movement? Not to say that our art scene does not borrow from the past now, but will there be a turn back of the art clock like there was when the nazis first gained power? Or will the new regime reign in a new avant-garde movement to bring fascism into the new millennium? Although, the Soviet Union was not a fascist regime per se, it was really only different by name, and for all intents and purposes, they were very similar to some fascist regimes. But the Soviet Union had several very interesting art movements that are often looked at now by western artists as a source of inspiration.
