Now to get right down to make the topic statement true, here is something of scripture straightforward in Revelation 13:8

"8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

Those names of people not written in the book have no record in it. A book keeps record as we know and learn from the book of Revelation. There is no tie , relation , involvement or anything to do with the book.

Now what is this book? 

A writing of those of or with life of or have a relationship with the lamb slain. The lamb's book of life. Being of the book means a relationship to it. Those not **of** it have no relationship to it meaning not related to it . They having nothing to do with a book, writing, record, fact related to the lamb slain.

How can the lamb be slain for someone that has nothing to do with the slaying of the lamb ?

If that someone is among those not found to be of the book as we read in Revelation 20, how do we turnaround and say Christ's death had to do with all people ?

Revelation 20

"14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Now you started off with verses regarding everlasting or eternal life.

If you're not in that book of life that was of the lamb slain, that would be slayed for you, you don't have life , otherwise the second death for sure would pass from you.
