Science VS. Philosophy?

Debate Information

As I was watching some Crash Course Philosophy on Youtube about Karl Popper and the Principle of Falsifiability, I scrolled down the comments and saw a debate.

The nature of the debate was about whether the epistemological technique used, which was Science, could substitute or overthrow Philosophy (in general) in finding the truth on whether or not God exists.

Now, this debate isn't about God, as that's not the reason I wanted to make this debate. No- what struck me as intriguing was whether or not Science or Philosophy was a better means of finding objective truth.

My first thoughts on this are:

It seems that without Philosophy, Science is an unorganized mess of knowledge and without Science, Philosophy is blind. This is because both Science and Philosophy rely on each other but the predicament still is here... which is better? Science or Philosophy?
