This should be quite easy to answer, especially in light of the fact that it is impossible to answer the converse; "how do we know that God exists?"
For example, how much overwhelming evidence is there that suggests that there is no God?
And, to what extent does the fact that there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever to support the existence of God, affect the corollary of said topic?
Most followers of God will concede that there is no logic to their belief so could we then apply logic to the non-existence of God by pondering the flippant suggestion that we "can't rule out the possibility"?
I say "flippant" since would that not set a dangerous precedent in that we could also not rule out the possibility of goblins and fairies or any other absurd possibility an imaginative mind may conjure up?
