When a government wins an election, the population should expect that the winning party should be able to have their way. After all, the population had their say. If they wanted the other party to have their way, they would have voted for the other party.
It's as if people feel that if they vote for one party, the other party should have it's way. I say that's nonsense, but that's just me.
I say that votes should actually count for something.
