Over the centuries organised religions have had their fair share of squabbling with each other, to say the least, and it certainly looks like such a propensity is far from disappearing unless of course, religion disappears. But until that inevitable event why don't we have a world religion soccer tournament?
It makes sense. Countries foster better understanding and fair treatment of each other with the World Cup so why not improve respect between religions the same way?
Each match would need to have non-partisan, neutral referees so atheists would, of course, be chosen for the job.
But what names could we give the major teams: The Christian Slayers, The Muslim Jihadists, The Bagel Boys, The Buddhist Zenophobes, etc.?
