The old adage that one cannot be certain about anything can have its problems. We can be certain and it really comes down to common sense.
Otherwise, anybody and everybody can get away with claiming anything and everything that they like. And of course, they will come out with the senseless retort of " You can't disprove it."
It's bad enough that that people go around claiming all sorts of things like astrology and pink fairies. I have heard that there are those who still cling to a weird primitive belief based on nothing more than ancient mythology. They call it God, however, I would say that's an extreme example.
