Somebody needs to say it! Led Zeppelin sucks! There. I had to got that off my chest.

They are considered iconic pioneers of hard rock and metal. Their lyrics were mysterious and filled with imagery. The mystical symbolism and album art work only added to their mysticism. They crossed genres and helped in creating new ones. Their name and records and t-shirts are globally recognized. They are rock royalty. At least, all that stuff about them is what you BOUGHT.
They were nothing more than a product. Their music was specifically created for AOR (album oriented radio) for the purpose of continuous rotation on rock radio. Being the most commercially successful rock band ever, they did, and still do have a vested interest in high priced lawyers who can get any claim that they ripped off their songs from other artists thrown out of court, while also being able to sue anybody who ripped off any of "their music" that they ripped off in the first place.
Pink Floyd and The Velvet Underground could stand on stage and make absolute noise for 30 minutes straight, and that one session alone would easily be more interesting than the entirety of Led Zeppelins discography. The illusion that Led Zeppelin were somehow artistically inclined is just a feature of their product. But it is only an illusion.
