I have noticed a long time ago that deeply religious people tend to use the term "evidence" very differently from how it conventionally is used.
Good point and I think it is largely due to the nature of airheads to take things at face value. They are fully convinced in their own mind that what is contained in the Bible is "evidence". If they see a printed article that says "the sky may be red", that is enough for those nit-wits to believe that is evidence. If they read that people in China have been drinking bats wing soup for centuries to cure cancer, that is enough for them to believe such idiocy is a fact. If thousands of people jump off a cliff then it must be the right thing for them to do......and hopefully the , air-headed nit-wits will do just that.
