Infants don't typically go to preschool, as the typical age for preschool is 3-4. No one is trying to teach preschoolers critical thinking skills. Instead, preschool is typically focused on learning things like shapes, colors, number and county, the alphabet, and appropriate social skills, which is entirely appropriate for that age.
