The Enviornent: A viable solution

Debate Information

As many of you are aware cars and other vehicles emit a ton load of carbon dioxide. And as we all know or should know (Especially if you are one of those that likes to spend their entire time talking about their 'alleged' scientific expertise on the internet) this just contributes to the ever-increasing problem of anthropogenic global warming.

Now, since plants absorb carbon dioxide than we already have a great way to help do our bit already. One way to do this is by attaching as many plants as we can to our cars. However, that can only go so far. We would also have to start driving through fields, grasslands, forests, etc so that more absorption from CO2 can be achieved. Obviously, there is more in this area that needs exploration. However, I do believe this is a good step in the right direction. What do you guys think?

  • Well, I thought this was a great idea. No one else got anything that we can add to make it even better?

The process of C0^2 balance is best addressed with protein skimming ZeusAres42 it is how the planet deals with the same issue in a natural way. Keep in mind as well C0^2 has a commercial application for space travel and works well in the area of fire control in large space craft structures.

Addressing mass transportation is a complex issue as we are to struggle with the cost of investment in infrastructure already in place. Roads, bridges, tunnels, and drainage systems. There are real solutions to problems, but they all come with different costs. The important fact to remember in evaluating human cost it is not all about only money. Time, ease of use, liberty is all additional cost to consider and are in no way a complete list of cost to expect.

Well, I thought this was a great idea "One way to do this is by attaching as many plants as we can to our cars."
The argument in the past on other sites and even here was that plants die unless cared for and release C0^2, plants require water and food so in a complex way they add to the weight of a car and raise C0^2 emissions erratically as leaves and other parts of a plant age and fall from the plants we choose to use. The real issue of Human Climate manipulation is not reducing temperature variables it is about budget and goals which are structured to yield the most stabilizing influence across natural events on a global scale as possible.

  • On a more personal note, the idea has risk as plants are able to become flying objects in the event of an accident in a car so if you are to add plants to your car please exercise caution.
