    Argument Topic: Debunk These Arguments

There is little scientific evidence against evolution. The scientific theory of evolution is widely accepted as a unified explanation of the biological diversity of all life on earth, based on natural selection driven by genetic mutations over time. The overwhelming majority of biological scientists accept the theory based on considerable evidence from many fields of study, including genetics, paleontology, and molecular biology.

However, Christian fundamentalists and creationist groups purport a religious persuasion stance against evolution. These are some arguments against evolution:

    1. Interpretation of the Bible: Certain religious people argue that the Bible's contents are literal truth, and they use it to support the creationist narrative while opposing the scientific view of evolution.

    2. The Theory of Intelligent Design: A scientific theory created by anti-evolutionists, that proposes that organisms' complexity cannot be explained through natural selection; therefore, a higher power would have designed and created them.

    3. Missing Fossil Record: Critics argue that there are insufficient fossil records to support evolution and that the vast differences between animals don't transition neatly throughout the geological time periods.

    4. The Concept of Irreducible Complexity: This argument argues that certain structures of living organisms are so complex that the organism could not function without all of its parts intact fully.

    5. Mutations: Some critics argue that mutations tend to be harmful and never lead to improved features or adaptations. Therefore, the evolution theory is baseless because it relies mainly on genetic mutations as the driving force of evolution.

Well there's not really any reason to believe that, of course when understanding how we should treat the unfounded claims of ancient people we need to examine the context of ourselves and the claim, back when we had very little knowledge of our origin we would of course make things up, we know that humans like to have answers to these thing. And out of the many examples of this the book of genesis is one of the few examples around today still believed. If it where human nature to only ever record such things when we knew them for certain, then there would not be so many different creation narratives throughout.
    2. The Theory of Intelligent Design: A scientific theory created by anti-evolutionists, that proposes that organisms' complexity cannot be explained through natural selection; therefore, a higher power would have designed and created them.
We don't really know for sure how complex beings came to be, but Darwin's theory of evolution doesn't claim to, the theory just addresses the changing of complex animals into other complex animals. So maybe there was some God who started us off, I don't know.
    3. Missing Fossil Record: Critics argue that there are insufficient fossil records to support evolution and that the vast differences between animals don't transition neatly throughout the geological time periods.
People don't seem to understand how rare fossilization, never mind fossilization to a degree that we have identifiable remains of a particular animal, is, for example, we have no fossil remains of Chimpanzees, we know they exist, we know that they have for a long time, they didn't just spring into being from totally different animal (probably), this is why it's silly when people talk about a missing link, it is impossible to fully trace back the progress of a species's evolution, fossilization is just to rare.
    4. The Concept of Irreducible Complexity: This argument argues that certain structures of living organisms are so complex that the organism could not function without all of its parts intact fully.
Animals can adapt to having different genetic components, and when they do not, because the mutation is simply not compatible with a living animal, then the animals simply dies and their genetic mishaps fail to spread. This happens quite often, but there are still cases in which the animal's genetic mutation fits in with their other aspects. We know that animals can adapt to changes in DNA because we can modify their genetics and see what it leads to.
    5. Mutations: Some critics argue that mutations tend to be harmful and never lead to improved features or adaptations. Therefore, the evolution theory is baseless because it relies mainly on genetic mutations as the driving force of evolution.
Some are good and some are bad, there is no reason to believe that they're all bad, they are simply changes, changes are often bad, as the previous argument led to the mention of, often a genetic change is incompatible with an animal, and the animal dies.

I found this to be a very interesting example of a positive mutation, (sorry for subjecting you to CNN, but it's the first link that showed up and I'm lazy) https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/limone-sul-garda-italy-elixir-wellness/index.html

I would dare say that, since there is not even one skerrick of evidence against evolution in the first place, there is absolutely nothing to disprove.

It is up to creationist to prove their frivolous, ill-gotten beliefs of creation and to date, they have not provided nor even bothered to provide nor can they provide any evidence whatsoever.

Evolution by natural selection has been irrefutably proven many times over.
