Greetings!
Tom Hanks is one of my favourite Hollywood actors and I recently watched his movie called 'A Man Called Otto'. In this movie, Tom Hanks was suffering because of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and tries to live a life of his choice without getting the emotional sympathy of people. Although this movie is not about cancer but yes, a man was about to die and he lived the last days of life differently. I think the plot could be a little improved. So, I am here to debate different movies that are produced to give psychological support to patients.
In this regard, I found a good list of movies to watch in Cancer
here likewise A Walk to Remember, Beaches and Stepmom but don't you think these have been old and it is the time to watch some more related films now? Hereof, if we talk about the latest movie that looks fascinating it could only be My Happy Ending and it found its review
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/23/movies/my-happy-ending-review.html a little interesting. However, its ratings are still not enough good. I can't say anything more because I haven't watched it.
Basically, I am here to discuss why industries like Hollywood are not making movies for cancer patients or survivors. If you have a grip on this topic and watched movies based on cancer recently then share your opinions.
