It could happen in the USA.     With 33% of people in the USA claiming that Biden won the debate against Trump, this means that 33% of the US population are clearly morons.     All the left needs then are another 14% of the US population to be near morons to gain power, just like in France.

We can hope not. At the same time we don't need the far left either. Really, it's a total embarrassment having a grown woman on the U.S. Supreme court who doesn't know what a women is because she's not a biologist. I mean really, between her kind and the religious right, where is the sanity?

Some of the party members in the victor coalition in France are explicitly communist. One of the leading members of it, Fabien Roussel, is the leader of the French Communist Party, a party in the 40-s officially affiliated with Stalin (yes, that Stalin), and nowadays claiming to continue the work of Jacobins, the guys responsible for the Reign of Terror in the late 1700-s.

For those who think that politics in the US are a mess... You guys do not know how good you have it. The analogue of the French election results would be the leader of the KKK running and winning the presidential seat.

Yes, but, they were French when it counted.  And, since they won, they can go back to being communists.

Here, in the US, in order to beat Trump, a coalition can be formed by people who HATE each other.  When Trump loses, they can go back to hating each other..

Then just like in France, the country will become ungovernable.     The coalition against Le Pen is now a coalition of the Macron centrist party, the left, the loony left, and the absolutely frothing the mouth, stark raving mad leftists who even uncle Joe Stalin would think was a bit too extreme.      Such a government is hardly a recipe for political stability.      Have a look at the leftist id-iots in France.      When it looked like they were going to lose the election, they rioted.   When they won the election, they rioted again.      I am glad these loonies are on your side and not mine.        In order for people to change heir minds, things have to get really, really bad before people start thinking straight.   Some people in the western world are watching their countries go down the gurgler because of socialism, and they are beginning to wake up.     France and Britain seem to be holding into their cherished socialist ideals which they think will solve every problem for them,     In six months time, we will see if things are so bad in the USA that the majority of Americans are starting to think straight.
