I am personally opposed, but prochoice.

I believe that personhood begins at implantation of the fertilized egg, when the pregnancy begins. However, I belie rights begin when the unborn can feel pain. I don't have to like abortion to support the mother's right to choose. I would oppose abortion if the government did not make things so hard for the mother. I have some what ifs to consider, and everyone will have a chance to speak on this: What if the mother was raped, and having mental problems from the rape? What if the mother has medical problems? I would not support forced sterilization. What if the mother is a 10 year old girl and she does not want to miss school? Do you get my point? The fetus is a person, but so is the mother. I know how to prevent so many abortions without POing anyone off. Free healthcare, contraceptive choice, etc. Sex ed. Contraceptive choice is the notion that people whether they are male or female have the right to choose what contraceptives they use to prevent a pregnancy. This includes a salpingectomy which is when a woman aged 20 or older want to have both tubes removed for birth control or other reasons. I want to answer an objection I see coming: If the fetus is a person, doesn't it have the right to live? I say it is a grey area, but not until it can feel pain. One person does not have any right to another person's body. When two lives are connected like in a pregnancy, there has to b some choice. Organ donation requires consent even for a corpse, and I say women and girls have more rights than a dead person.
