Should people be able to get out of life sentences?
Oftentimes, the reason for life in prison is a mitigation of the death penalty, and oftentimes, lawyers will try to beg life in prison rather than the death of the accused. Thus, it would seriously have to depend on the nature of the person who is currently in life prison. I also believe in rehabilitation, it is one of the four purposes of prisons, along with incarceration, deterrence, and retribution, yet if one attains life in prison, then the individual must make a complete change (which I consider near impossible) and that withstands government approval for release.
A good debate is not judged by bias, but in the context of the debate, where objectivity is key and rationale prevalent.
