They're asylum seekers.

The right to seek asylum is a universal human right the USA recognises.

Therefore at a bare minimum they should be allowed in while their case is looked at and potentially allowed to remain in the long term if their application is successful.

Since they're not Mexican, they can be left in Mexico.  They have no need, or right, to enter the US.
