Posters have challenged me as to why I use the term "normal " when referring to atheists.
It is, of course, no more than an expression of the fact that atheism is a "neutral position" when referring to religiosity.
That being the case, it would not resonate well to label theists as "abnormal", so, what would be a more "in vogue" or "trending now" term for theists?
Given that atheists are more often associated with being "realists", and using the fashionable habit of adjectivizing and adverbalizing nouns, how would this sound?....
"realistically challenged"....
Similarly, perhaps there may be some verabalistically adept theists who could inventivize a supplemental idiomation for "atheist".
