Assuming that there is a God and, relying on popularly held accounts of the all-powerful, Omnipotent Master, could it be that God is deluded?
Firstly, let's consider, that for some reason, God has always remained elusive and has, on few occasions (and at that, only a couple of thousand years ago) recited through third parties, His wishes albeit in a very cryptical manner.
One instruction seems to be universally clear. That is, the one over-riding condition for any person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven is to simply believe that He exists.
The dilemma here is that only those who are naive, gullible, weak and vulnerable are going to believe that God exists. Those who are strong, well-rounded, intelligent, and morally sound will not have a bar of such a concept purely based on very flimsy, hearsay anecdotes.
So, is it that God is a bit off His rocker if the only residents He wants in Heaven are vacillating, impressionable airheads? Perhaps, that is His sort of personality anyway and He would feel more comfortable having His own kind around Him then, so be it.
Or is it that God is not so deluded and dumb after all and, despite His vague promises, He has an ulterior motive for those whose souls who ascend to the Promised Land?
Worth thinking about, isn't it?
