If it is wrong to kill 20 people to save one is it the same case when you're the same person? Although some may argue that it's ok to kill them if they're trying to kill your friend, which I agree it is always noble to protect a friend but at the cost of 20 people I'm not sure, some would argue that though it is sad we can not blame the person for acting on there instinct to survive, although some would say it's always ok to kill a person who would kill you, while in the sense of numbers being the only thing that matter, It is always wrong to kill more than one person in the defense of one. If you think that it is wrong would you kill 20 people to save yourself, or would you surrender to die? If it is wrong to kill more then one person in self defense, is it wrong to kill one for one? In which case one would argue that your life does not matter more than that of the would be murderer, although we once more are confronted with the urge to survive, and many would argue that the life of an innocent person must come before the life of a attempted murderer, Is there even a right or wrong option when it comes to this situation? I don't think people should be killing each other but if they do then we can say that they are only acting on the urge to survive and did no wrong.
