Issues with Latin America:
Poverty American funding of all types
Violence Corruption/Organized Crime
Illegal Immigration Political ties/views of U.S
Education Racism
Drugs Deportation/Asylum seekers.
Economic impact Discrimination/Civil Rights
DHS Welfare/parentless children
Terrorist Networks Fraud/money laundering
+more..
If you think about it simply, Latin Americans do not paint a pretty picture as the first thing you think of. A bunch of uneducated people coming into our country breaking our laws, changing communities, carnival music thumping indians who dont know any better invading our country. For many of us who aren't racist Latin Americans are portrayed as regular people looking for a better life for their family and welcome them as long as they respect our laws.
But what is the root problem with Latin Americans the majority of Americans really should hate? Politics. Government in Latin America such as in Mexico lack the needed funding of schools throughout the country for childrens education, access and transportation to that education, and resources for schools to circumvent into a structured network to provide these services. Sadly, this is still happening today and as such, Mexico will continue to poorly grow as a country if it does not start investing in the future of Mexico which is young children. Without access to education Mexico will never grow into solving some of its more important problems going on with drug cartels. Drug cartels thrive because of the high number of poor and little opportunity but to join. Mexicos Government police force and Federal forces will never end this war they wage on drugs and corruption if they do not first focus on education. It will take more than 20 years before Mexico sees a huge change after shifting focus into education before things get good but nevertheless its the correct path in contrast favoring a drug war without an end.
However, The Mexican and other Latin American countries are not all fully to blame. The American Government is also to blame and they know it. With a $14.47 Trillion GDP the US spends a lot of money in all areas of Government one of those is foreign aid. Israel with $352 Billion GDP and $49,000 Capita receives billions in aid from Washington thats not bad for being an ally. The United Arab Emirates with a $600 billion GDP and $40,000 Capita receives billions in aid from washington. Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq are other nations billions are sent to in aid sometimes landing in the hands of terrorists in comparison with Mexicos $1 Trillion GDP and $9,000 Capita, the US Government send little aid to our southern neighbor. With a package of only $1 million in aid to Mexico along with a pair of retired blackhawks to support Mexico one would think and wonder whats really going on.
This discrepancy inadequate to what we are battling to accomplish makes no sense and because of it Mexicos problem persists and the flow of it ends up entering into the US. If The United States funded just as much in aid to Mexico as it does with Pakistan, Israel, The United Emirates etc.. then I could be certain to say that Mexico would not be up to its neck with issues as it is today.
