Is Israel Trying To Take All Of Palestine?

Debate Information

Palestinians and their supporters claim Israel is an existential threat to Palestinians and intent on controlling all of Palestine.  This claim couldn't be farther from the truth.  Israel accepted the United Nations partition plan in 1947.  The Arab states wanted all or nothing and rejected the plan.  To this day Palestinian Arabs repeat the mantra “From the River to the Sea”, claiming all of Palestine and negating any legitimacy to Israel’s existence.  If the Palestinian Arabs continue to insist on “all or nothing” they will end up with nothing.

Israel's plan of unilateral disengagement from the Gaza Strip and North Samaria put forward by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was carried out on 15 August 2005. The purpose of the plan was to improve Israel's security and international status in the absence of peace negotiations with the Palestinians.
With the implementation of the plan, IDF installations and forces were removed and over 9000 Israeli citizens living in 25 settlements were evicted. By 22 September 2005, Israel's withdrawal from the entire  Gaza Strip to the 1967 Green Line, and the eviction of the four settlements in Samaria, was completed.
In June 2007 Hamas took over the Gaza Strip from the Palestinian Authority. Many thousands of rockets and mortar shells have been fired from the Gaza Strip onto southern Israeli towns and villages, terrorizing and destabilizing the lives of hundreds of thousands of Israeli citizens.

I agree. People just don't want to accept how Israel has acted in good faith while Hamas's treacherous betrayal has cost them. My contention is Hamas and the like has to go. Can't blame Israel for being pissed.

Multiculturalism does not work and it is now proven to not work.      This is especially so with Islam, as Islam can not ever accept any idea of not being the defining culture in any area it inhabits.    The Europeans never realised that before today, because the phenomena of Muslims immigrating into western countries had never happened before.     After Islam became the minority religions in some European countries such as Spain, Muslim leaders instructed Muslims in European counties to leave Europe because Islam can not exist as a minority in any country.      The insular nature of Islam can be understood from it's censorship policies.    European books were banned in the Muslim world until the mid 19th century.   The first book allowed into an Islamic society was a medical book on treating syphilis, which goes to show where Islam's priorities were.    Muslims more or less were completely ignorant about the existence of the New World, and the first book about the USA was not published in an Islamic country until the mid 1860's.

The problem in Palestine/Israel can be solved if the "Palestinians" just went somewhere else to live.      But this is impossible for two reasons.  The first is, that Islam does not want the problem solved short of exterminating Israel and every Jew who lives there.    The second is, that 'Palestinians" have proven to be such a pain in the arse in every country which has been foolish enough to let them immigrate, that nobody wants them,.   And that includes their Muslim "brothers."

However, ethnic cleansing does work a treat.    And the Muslims, who have always been the world's foremost ethnic cleansers know how true that is.       If you are a minority in a Muslim and then you are in real trouble.    If you are not a Christian or a Jew,  then you either convert to Islam or you die.    The Hindu's and the Buddhists know all about that.   The "Hindu Kush" mountain range literally means "Hindu Slaughter" in Pashtu.

During WW2, all east European countries had significant minorities of ethnic Germans.     This was used as an excuse for Germany to invade these countries as the Nazi party under Hitler claimed that ethnic Germans were being persecuted within those countries.   Putin is using the same excuse to invade Ukraine, and will use the same excuse to invade the Baltic States too, but I digress.     During the war, those ethnic minority Germans became the leading collaborators within those countries for Nazi Germany.   Because they were "German" they were trusted to run the occupied countries.    They also made up the "Schutzstaffel, which were the men who formed the death squads who mass murdered anyone who opposed Nazi Germany within those conquered countries.    After the war ended, the eastern European countries realised what a cancer they had allowed to settle within their borders, and all ethnic Germans in eastern Europe were expelled back to Germany.

The same thing happened in Korea.    Japan had been in Korea for over a hundred years and had settled millions of Japanese into Korea to make it a part of Japan, and to have people they trusted to run the place.   But after the war, the Koreans would not tolerate the presences among them of an enemy population living within their society.   The North Koreans solved the problem by simply killing off millions of Japanese citizens of their country.   The South Koreans were more humane.    The Americans simply insisted that  all ethnic Japanese living in Korea had to return to Japan.       Ethnic cleansing can be a smart thing to do.

    Hello Jules:

Yeah..  Slowly but surly, they are appropriating Palestinian land..  Now, it's certainly possible that the Palestinians don't deserve the land, but that's another question.

@JulesKorngold ; There is no "Palestine," ....the Land belongs to Israel.

Why shouldn't the Israelis take over all of Palestine?     The Muslims "took over" all of the Middle East, much of the Far East, Anatolia, and North Africa from the Christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians, so they can hardly complain if somebody does them, what they have been doing to everybody else for 1400 years.
