My argument on this is no, if you are fat then you cannot be healthy. There is a reason BMI exists, and that is to tell if you are overweight or morbidly obese. If you are fat, and are saying that the HAES approach is true, then you are subjected to a terrible lie. Health at Every Size is not possible because we know and it has been proven that people who ae overweight have heart problems, they die sooner, you loose stamina, you have harder times getting sleep, you make worse decisions (I am overweight and am not proud of it so I am biased on those last two but that is what happened with me at least). Fat people need to know that your genes do not determine if you are gonna be fat, the way you eat and how much you exercise does. You cannot treat every small thing as a way to reward yourselves with cake, ice cream, snacks, burgers from fast food places. It kills your body slowly and too quote Meme Roth "That is like saying your a smoker with black lung, but its healthy because you do not have cancer yet."
What do you guys think? Can fat people be healthy? Are fat people lazy? Does fatphobia exist?
