Does Dirt Have Medical Properties?

Debate Information

Quite emphatically, I will break with tradition and stick my neck out here and state as a fact that dirt does indeed have medical properties.
Did you know that dirt is being used extensively in medical institutions and hospitals around the world as a comprehensively tested and proven cure for many types of cancer including colon, breast and bowel cancers with a success rate of almost 100% of patients making a full recovery?

Also, dirt contains many minerals that may provide relief from arthritis and back pain. Studies have shown that dirt has aided in curing blindness in many patients and it is believed that in fact these patients have reported gaining eyesight far superior to most well-sighted people.

And we are talking here about, plain, ordinary, unadulterated dirt; no tricks or any refinement processes involved, just dirt. And it stands to reason that it works because many cultures have used dirt for medicinal purposes for centuries.

The medicinal benefits of using dirt to treat anxiety, fungal infections, and wounds have been demonstrated.

And dirt is known to be the world's number one form of antiseptic. A randomized control trial was carried out where baseline characteristics and baseline healing scores were comparable. The median healing score of latent and early active phase was lower in the dirt antiseptic group, 5 vs 6 and 7 vs 8, respectively. The mean differences of healing scores between latent and early active phase and the baseline were significantly lower in the dirt , 1.88 vs 2.6 (p = 0.010) and 3.82 vs 4.39 (p = 0.031), respectively. Late active phase healing scores and other peri-trauma outcomes were not significantly different.

I have never been one for alternative therapies but all of what I say here is true and I challenge anybody to prove me wrong.
