Is it better to keep your opinions to yourself?

Argument Topic: Some opinions need to be kept to yourself.

It's okay to have an opinion about anything just as long as it isn't viewed as unacceptable by most people. If it's viewed as unacceptable by the vast majority of people and you know that it will cause you to not get a job, don't express it. Like for example, if you support slavery, don't tell anybody about it because it could prevent you from being able to land a job. It's okay if not all of your moral standards confirm to what the vast majority of society sees as morally acceptable because you don't see any logic to it, but it's not okay to express it. I especially think discussing politics isn't good either. Also, if you have racist thoughts, you can keep then to yourself.
