It's possible they could be real, and they could be rare, and we haven't discovered them.

    Fantasy :

A fantasy is an idea with no basis in reality and is basically your imagination unrestricted by reality.

    Hello the:

It depends on where you look AND how you define fantasy creatures..  Since there's millions of habitable planets in the Universe, there probably ARE creatures out there that'll scare the bejesus outta you.

Then they weren't mythical just presumed to be so , do you know what the term " fantasy" and " mythical " mean?

Wow1    What an earth shattering topic.    No wonder business has ben slow on this debate site for some time.   What's next?   How many angels can dance on the end of a pin?

  • @jack I believe we haven't even discovered all of the creatures in the U.S. either.
  • @Bogan Do you really think I'm going to ask a question like that? I feel like that could be debated on, but it's not one I'm interested in asking.

I think it is possible that stories about dragons came from people finding dinosaur bones, or seeing a creature like a Komodo dragon.  It is possible that stories about unicorns arose from someone seeing a side view of a goat, or possibly there was a mis-formed goat or ram.   Maybe someone pulled in a large squid in a net and stories of Kraken started.  But I don't think these creatures actually exist anywhere today other than in comics and story books.

FYI, Rainforests still have creatures we haven't found. While people often think about life on other planets, we haven't even discovered all the life on our own yet. The search keeps going. And I think it will continue for some time.

Argument Topic: Yes, absolutely there could be races that are almost identical to Klingons for example. There could be a horned horse and thus unicorn.

We haven't explored all of Earth. We haven't drilled deep into the Earth's mantle. There are billions of galaxies, possibility a multi-verse, maybe twelve dimensions, and then there is hype-reality Matrix and Inception.

The fact is if we live in a hyper reality vampires could exist, Hermione Granger could cast spells, and most importantly we could have unicorn princesses.
