Is Texas law ruling Kate Cox must travel outside Texas for health care, fair and just or extreme?

Debate Information

Kate Cox who resides in Texas, is a 31 year-old mother of two, 20 weeks pregnant with her third child. The baby has been diagnosed with a chromosomal disorder called Trisomy 18. This is a rare condition causing many severe defects and the chances of survival is slim to none. If the baby does survive, it will not survive for more than a few days. Her doctors also warn that if sheś forced to carry the fetus to term and unable to receive the health care she needs, there is a possibility it will jeopardize her ability to carry another baby.

Texas law states she cannot receive the health care she needs in that state. She must travel out of state for an abortion.

Most Americans support restrictions on abortions at 20 weeks. In fact, most Americans support restrictions on abortion much earlier than that.  See

It will be interesting for some of the non-US people to chime as most countries have abortion restrictions prior to 20 weeks.

It is not an abortion it is a medical process being described by a Court and criminal law as a filed grievance of an order to officially stop life. First, with respect to the court, it may be for the best that any medical practice for such a medical treatment is not held or performed in the State of Texas. The State of Texas law is also responsible for medical licensing inside that state along with medical liability insurances regulation. Thus, there is a financial incentive to force a medical procedure out of the state of Texas under a false name which is self-incriminating to the recipient / patient. The United States Constitutional, living and citizen, assigned by law of nature Ambassador of the people who will live in the future, posterity, the court of Texas has of their own liberty attempted like the Supreme court to relieve themselves unlike the mothers’  a burden of Ambassador status. Assigned to her / them by law of nature. The United States Constitutional Right is only translatable from criminal law if a woman is said to be President of the United States of America. As a President of the United States of America has a declaration of independence from English law with a criminal accusation of discrimination based on gender looming over it.

The Right to Female-specific amputation is not implied it is a grievance filed under the fact of American Constitutional Preamble as a common defense to the General Welfare to ensure tranquility. It is a written right. At the top of the American Constitution. All women are by fact created equal by their creator simply by titling their witness of Constitutional Right as Presadera. ' She." in the right way.

    Hello again, O:

Populist authoritarianism is on the rise worldwide.  Anti-abortion politics aren't far behind.  If democracy falters, so do reproductive rights.

    I do agree.

But for the record, do you believe the Texas ruling is fair and just or extreme?

I mentioned the fact that the majority of people believe that abortions should be restricted prior to 20 weeks.  That is indeed pertinent to the discussion and does suggest the general view of people on the issue.  Do you want to silence information that is contrary to your viewpoint?  At least 4 times you have claimed I was not on subject after I brought up facts that were contrary to your view point.  Bringing up points that you don't want mentioned in the discussion is not not failing to stay on subject, but it may be contrary to your agenda to keep facts that you don't like out of the conversation.

    Hello again, O:

I believe the 625 words that comprise the Bill of Rights, mean exactly what they say.  Any law that contravenes those rights, and the Texas law does, are unjust and extreme by their very nature.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated,"

That's the 4th...  Just HOW is the government gonna enforce its abortion law WITHOUT seizing the person???  Truly, how they gonna do that?

Lemme say again, if you're a woman, the state of Texas is gonna KILL you.

At least pharmacies aren't releasing private information w/o warrant to nap abortion traffickers.

Great argument. :) This is why I muted so many people on this site, so I could listen to the more intelligent and honest comments. According to the book, How fascism works fascists hate abortion. You really need to read this book to understand what is going on with abortion.

It is not America's aborion law, and women are not delcared independent form English law in the declaration of independence. Female-specific amputation by United States Consitutional Right is not abortion and all women are created equal under United States Consitutional Right as Presadera.

    WITHOUT seizing the person??
Lets start with abortion is an admission no seizing is required.

Truly, how they gonna do that?
The people who orchestrated the so law so long ago probably depended on there ever being a United States Constitutional Right, or that most women and most people might know how to write and defended it.

    @jack
I agree that populist authoritarianism is on the rise and we should all be concerned.

We should all fear for America if Trump wins in 2024. First, and most important to an authoritarian narcissist, he will spend years seeking revenge and inflicting the highest punishment on anyone who was not 100% loyal to him. He will impose the strictest rules limiting and robbing people of personal freedoms.  He will likely assign his far-right, anti-immigration, speech writing ghoul, Stephen Miller, the duty of policing Americans like the gestapo. To satisfy his extreme evangelical base, the line between church and state will be nonexistent giving religious extremism more power and money. We can say goodbye to free and fair elections. The media and journalism as we know it, will strictly adhere to Trump´s demands of always framing him in a positive light. He will demand Americans - as he said - ¨Sit Up at Attention¨ for him like they do for Kim Jong Un. Picture thousands of Americans clapping for him like crazed, wound up monkey toys as the North Koreans do for Un.

If Trump wins, democracy is done in America; this will start the end of global peace.
