Should We Use Nitrogen To Ececute?

This all sounds totally bazar because the prisoner in question is Kenneth Smith and he all ready survived an execution last year when they tried to do him in with lethal injection.
This might sound very obvious but if your going to make the guy breathe nitrogen then why not just put a scarf around his face and suffocate him. You dont have to muck a round going out to get a cylinder of gas and the mask then and basically your doing the same thing. Or even just stick his head in a pale of water.
So okay the civil liberationists are saying its inhuman because it takes over 7 minutes of pain and fear on a human being.
So why not shoot him? It costs only a dollar for a bullet and they guy is dead in a fraction of a second. Of all the execution methods they have come up with over the years havent those officials bothered to take the time to look no further than under there own noses and simply pull out a gun and shoot the guy?

Here’s a throught for you. It all comes down to an eye for an eye. So in affect we’re killing some one because he killed some one else. So why not kill him the same way he killed his victim? If he rapped and slowly tortured his victim to death then why not kill him the same way?
