The prediction game generally isn't very lucrative. But If I had to say one way or the other I'd say it depends on the agendas set forth with the winning party. 

If Trump wins knowing he's got four years to make his mark and installs extremists in key positions as opposed to inexperienced governmental people like last time, it could end democracy as we know it in America. 

On the other hand if Biden wins and continues to leave his centralist left reputation to seek even further extremes to the left as he's been doing trying to secure his legacy, democracy may be in trouble under him as well. Harris would be more disastrous than either Biden or Trump.

At the end of the day though barring any unforeseen natural disasters or wars, America will survive and repair what damages has been done as opportunity arises. Who knows? Even a broken clock is right twice a day and maybe democracy will thrive. 

But if extremist like ricky who have the "any means possible" attitude that the leftist group Antifa demonstrated; occupy key positions and hears voices in their heads thinking it's their god talking to them, who knows what will happen?

Democracy is a system of governance. It is not a system in which every member of every party is forced to believe in elections, and there are functional democracies in which major parties systematically challenge the election system. In the US, for instance, the initial Founding Fathers' design in which electors freely voted for president, and citizens voted for electors and not for president, the system has changed over time, and now everyone casts a vote for president directly - one could say that this change alone signifies death of democracy if he was to adopt the reasoning you are proposing, OP.

In the western world, democracy has it's enemies.      Throughout history, small groups of related people have tried and often succeeded in becoming the absolute rulers of a country, and they are trying it again today.  Political elites and their big business paymasters, in concert with the unelected administrations of every country, are in the process of attempting to corrupt democracy using multiculturalism, political corruption,  and control of the media.     They have had great success in imposing their self seeking views upon the people, but the one fly in the ointment is that whenever such people try to take complete control of everything, they usually muck it up so bad that eventually, things get right out of control and their country begins to go bankrupt, and crime and terrorism go through the roof.      That is when the populations who elected these corrupt and self seeking clowns into power realise that their fake news press is lying to them as the now state controlled media keeps telling everybody that everything is just fine.   The problem is, that increasing numbers of people can see with their own eyes that everything is not just fine at all.    That is when the electorate, or at least the majority of them, will hurl the incumbent and corrupt elites aside and elect a reforming government.     This is the situation within the USA right now.
