What Does "Being Saved" Really Mean?

@Swolliw ; Being "saved," theologically speaking, means that you have been declared "not guilty" of your sin by the Father as a result of trusting - believing that Jesus Christ is Lord who suffered and died and shed His innocent blood as payment for your sin and by faith in Jesus you enter into covenant relationship with the Father who, by covenant promise (Hebrews 8:12), chooses to clear your debt owed Him, forgives and forgets your sin and places within you the Gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit who is the Guarantor of covenant relationship (Ephesians 1:13-14) and the Spirit begins a good work in you through the process of sanctification via the conscience as the Spirit prepares you for service in the New Jerusalem.

Saved: v. saved, sav·ing, saves. v.tr. 1. a. To rescue from harm, danger, or loss.

Being saved, "theologically" speaking means to be rescued from the harm and danger of being cast into a burning inferno and being mercilessly and violently beaten and tortured for eternity. Now, do you really want me to quote you (and all others reading this) exactly where in the Bible (there are many passages) that states such?

So, how about stop gilding the lily and start coming clean about what "saved" really means?

The reason people have to be saved is because Adam disobeyed God and lost his connection to God.  Everyone born to Adam are also disconnected to God.  So Jesus came as a bridge to reconnect to God.  Without God, when you leave your flesh, you will be in utter darkness. 
You don't need to go to Church to be saved,.  That's nonsense.  Those who are in church that is not filled with the Holy Spirit are baby Christians, who are not connected to God.  They think they are, but they are not.  There are only a few Holy Spirit filled Churches around.  In those churches people are being delivered from demons and being healed from sicknesses. Jesus did not come to condemn the world, but he came to expose the darkness. @Swolliw

@Swolliw ; Being saved means that you will not be judged for your sin as you have believed and trusted in Jesus Christ as your Lord for the mediation of that sin before the Father as Jesus took your sin upon Himself at the Cross and paid your debt through His shed blood; therefore, the one who trusts in Jesus as Lord is "saved" from the "second death" in Hell.
